ABOUT FOUR CORNERS INNOVATIONS
Four Corners Innovations, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in Farmington, New Mexico. It was founded in 2012 as the research park of San Juan College. As such, it's the nimble arm of its parent institution. FCI is the best of both worlds, you get what you need when you need it with the backing of an institution known for energy.
In addition to high quality, just-in-time on-site well control training, FCI is also known for its biennial San Juan Basin Energy Conference (held on odd-numbered years), its Hawk Tank Business Plan Student Competition, and for administering state-authorized CDL driving exams. Proceeds help support both entrepreneurs and San Juan College.
Four Corners Innovations CEO
Alicia Corbell, Dean of the San Juan College School of Energy, has served as FCI’s CEO since December 2017. Her experience in the energy industry spans more than two decades. During her 21-year tenure at the Williams Corporation, she worked in engineering, sales, and national account management.
One of Alicia’s many strengths is her business acumen developed from her experience as a small business owner, business advisor, and special projects analyst for the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas.
Alicia holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a minor in Spanish and an emphasis in mathematics from Texas Tech University.
Her leadership has moved Four Corners Innovations forward in its efforts to foster economic development throughout the state.
